What can
Unify Switch
do for you business?

Routing traffic through multiple carriers, providers, and end-users all whilst maintaining the infrastructure, safeguarding against hackers, supporting users, and growing your business can be painstakingly complex and time-consuming. An intelligent softswitch can alleviate a lot of the burden, and help you focus on more important tasks.

A Class 4 Softswitch routes large volumes of VoIP calls throughout multiple IP networks. In contrast, a Class 5 Softswitch routes calls to the correct IP address, SIP address or DID number of an End-user.

UnifySwitch is a hybrid Class 4 and Class 5 SIP Softswitch.

Most softswitches on the market use open-source software at their core. These are often left outdated, leaving your core switch vulnerable.

Coded from the ground up on a consortium of ITSPs, MVNOs, wholesalers, and carriers.

Hardware-independent and easily scalable on any type of hosting platform. A system that runs locally, in the cloud, virtual or not.

Cost Saving
Route outbound calls through different providers. You can choose routes based on cost, availability, reliability, and priority. Purchase DIDs from different providers and route them to your PBXes or clients.
DID Management
Manage your DIDs from different providers under one portal, which can then be distributed between clients and users.
Media Pass Thru or Media Proxy
On a subscriber basis, you can select to pass the media directly to your end nodes saving bandwidth and resources. You can also select to proxy the media, meaning, letting UnifySwitch take care of all media conversion and NAT. This is done via the internal SBC as well as its super-efficient media transcoder.
Topology Obfuscating
UnifySwitch can become the SBC for all your telecommunication needs, it can act as a proxy between your WAN and internal systems, securing the protecting your network in the process.
Fail Over Providers
UnifySwitch automatically re-routes calls via pre-defined carriers, in case of a service interruption. UnifySwitch constantly (pre-defined) checks that service providers are correctly routing your calls. If it finds that there is a service interruption, calls will be automatically routed through different carriers.
Fail Over DIDs and Subscribers
If your client or user experiences a service interruption with their equipment, UnifySwitch can automatically re-route the calls to a different subscriber or failover server, or simply forward the calls to another telephone number.
Security Features
There's nothing more frustrating than a hacker finding a way in and causing damage or incurring long distance charges for you. UnifySwitch is built with security in mind. It automatically detects and blocks hack attempts and unauthorized users.
Virtually interoperable with all brands of VoIP Equipment
Unify Switch adheres to all SIP RFC3261 requirements, therefore it works with all SIP compliant devices. It has been tested rigorously with some of the most commonly used PBXes worldwide. In no specific order; Asterisk, SIP Foundry, Elastix, FreeSwitch, OpenPBX, PBXInAFlash, FreePBX, OpenSIPs, Kamailio, 3CX, Avaya, Grandstream UCM, Asterisk, Vodia, and Cisco.
High Expandability
UnifySwitch is built to be light on resources that can handle 1000s of simultaneous calls and 100s of calls per second on relatively weak hardware. Although individual results may vary, contact us with your specific numbers and we can recommend the necessary hardware.
Open Standard, Closed Source
Most of our competitors use open-source software at the core of their Softswitch. The problem is that these open source projects are plagued with vulnerabilities, due to the nature of being open source. These vulnerabilities are often left unpatched in production environments, due to the nature of the implementation with the Softswitch interface. Unify Switch is written completely in C from the ground up, with closed source, and no known vulnerabilities.
